The Brief
Wild Gravity is a Seattle creative production company that plans, shoots, cuts, animates and finishes work for brands like Microsoft, Amazon, Xbox and Brooks. Its whole case is that all of it happens under one roof, and the site had to make that case before anyone pressed play.
The Challenge
Two audiences on one site: brands commissioning video, post-production, VFX and 3D, and productions that only want to rent the building. On top of that, twenty five projects across five categories, from craft that lives in motion and goes flat on a static page.
The Approach
I led with the sizzle reel and one line, from before the lights to after the action, then set the services out in the order a production actually moves: video, post, VFX and CGI, 3D and motion, and finally the studio itself. Clients, awards and the Seattle base sit in the first screen as plain labels rather than a logo wall.
What Shipped
A filterable, CMS driven portfolio of twenty five projects across Technology, Gaming, Sports, Brand and Consumer, and Nonprofit and Culture. A Location page for the facility, with its six edit suites, ten VFX workstations and DaVinci Resolve color suite, and rates on request. An About page for the team, and an inquiry form that asks for the service up front.
Outcome
A production studio site that shows the work before it talks about it, and gives the rentable facility a page of its own instead of a line in the footer.
